Year 10 Work Experience Programme
This is a great opportunity for your child to gain valuable real-world experience and explore potential career paths.
It runs from July 10th to July 23rd.
How to Apply
- Your child needs to find a work experience placement that interests them.
- Once they have a placement, they need to complete the application process using Unifrog (an online platform).
- All application forms must be completed through Unifrog, including employer liability insurance and health and safety policies.
Work Experience Schedule
- Students will typically work a standard 5-day week (9am to 5pm).
- Flexible schedules and weekend shifts may be possible.
What if my child doesn't participate?
- Students who choose not to participate will follow a modified school schedule during the work experience weeks.
- Work experience is becoming increasingly important for further education, so we strongly urge all students to participate.
Absences and Communication
- If your child is unwell and can't attend on a specific day, you must inform the employer as well as the school.
Work Experience application process
- Application forms are due by April 23rd.
