At the Cottesloe School we have dedicated classrooms for History teachers. Students who have studied A level have gone on to Cambridge and Kings College London. History opens up many opportunities and is widely respected as an A level by Universities. The Cottesloe School is now a beacon school for the teaching of the Holocaust. This is facilitated through University College London.

Trips and Visits
Students have been to Auschwitz as part of the Holocaust Educational Trust training. We have invited Holocaust survivors to come into school to recount their experiences to students.
Year 10 and 11 students have been on battlefield trips to Northern France and Belgium. There are visits to London by A level students to participate in lectures by University Professors and academics for the A level topics. At KS3 we have had re-enactment presentations by the History Squad.
