Congratulations to Josh Jackson who has been offered a place at Queen's College Cambridge to study Politics. After being selected for interview he had to undergo three separate interviews at the university before being offered a place. Prior to these Josh took part in a preparation program within the school which included a number of practice interviews with feedback and advice.
Cambridge University Study Day
10 Students from the Year 12 A* group had the opportunity to visit Pembroke College Cambridge to get a taste of university life there. They received information and advice on applying to Russell Group universities and completing their personal statements from the head of undergraduate admissions Dr Caroline Burt. They also had a tour of the college itself and got to meet some of the students already studying there.
Pembroke College was established over 600 years ago and is one of Cambridge university's oldest colleges. The Cottesloe School has a partnership with Pembroke based on their Access Program which seeks to help students from non selective schools achieve a place at Oxbridge.
